Washington Gas is seeking a Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) to lead a team delivering capital and enterprise projects in a regulated utility environment. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Permitting, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and executives to align the portfolio with strategic and regulatory objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or related field required.
• Certification such as PMP strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive project and program management experience, preferably in utility/regulatory environment.
• 5+ years in a PMO leadership or portfolio management role required.

Aufgaben

• Implement and maintain PMO standards, methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
• Lead a team of project managers to execute portfolio with governance, stage-gates, and approvals.
• Report on portfolio using controls, risk, change, and QA tools.
• Oversee jurisdictional portfolio implementation, prioritization, and optimization of capital projects.
• Ensure portfolio aligns with strategic plans, rate cases, and regulatory mandates.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to PMO staff to ensure execution of projects.
• Monitor performance, benefits realization, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audits.
