Job summary

Washington Gas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives and major infrastructure projects across the U.S. Utilities Enterprise. The role includes coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing travel within service territories.

You will oversee definition, execution planning, and delivery controls from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business, strategy and cross-functional leaders to define major projects and strategic initiatives that align with organizational priorities.
• Establish clear project objectives, scope, cost, schedule, deliverables, success measures, assumptions, constraints, resource requirements, and execution strategies.
• Develop integrated project plans and schedules identifying key activities, milestones, dependencies, decision points, and resource needs.
• Confirm alignment among project objectives, business requirements, regulatory commitments, and expected outcomes.
• Lead assigned projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, issues, changes

Washington Gas has an immediate openings for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives and major infrastructure projects. This role will support manage projects across our U.S. Utilities Enterprise and require some travel within our service territories.

You Will
