Job summary

Technology Service Corporation seeks a Program Management Office (PMO) Director based in Huntsville, AL, to lead the PMO for RF-based products in the precision weapons DoD/DoW domain. Travel up to 25% may be required for non-Huntsville staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in program/project management with leadership of program managers or teams.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking for DoD/DoW programs.
• Proven ability to develop and improve PMO processes and tools.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing performance of direct reports.
• Excellent written and verbal stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PM tools (Project, Confluence, Teams, JIRA).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Program Managers across full lifecycle of RF-based products.
• Establish and optimize PMO processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Coordinate Program Management Reviews with Division leadership.
• Communicate issues and risks to stakeholders with sound judgement.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance adherence.
• Coordinate proposal development and pricing support.
• Guide ROMs and customer funding requests.
• Escalate program issues and manage resource conflicts across units.
• Build relationships with government offices and customers.
• Monitor milestones, master plans, and schedules; resolve problems.
• Ensure resource deconfliction and cross-program coordination.
• Support business development and position the organization as preferred partner.
