Job summary

Oasis Mental Health Centers Medical LLC seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Paramus, NJ to lead medication management and collaborate on TMS/Spravato services. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, prescribe psychotropic medications, and document in the EMR.

The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and experienced in outpatient settings with strong communication skills. DEA prescriptive authority is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed in New Jersey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Advanced Practice Nurse with psychiatric certification.
• DEA license with prescriptive authority.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric medication management strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for patients requiring medication management, TMS and Spravato.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and state regulations.
• Collaborate with additional TMS and Spravato providers to ensure integrated, comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and contribute to program development as we expand medication management services.
