Job summary

Oasis Mental Health Centers is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Paramus, NJ team. The role focuses on psychiatric medication management, TMS, and Spravato treatment within a growing service line.

Requires NJ PMHNP-BC or APRN with psychiatric certification and a DEA license with prescriptive authority. The ideal candidate values patient-centered, collaborative care and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed in New Jersey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Advanced Practice Nurse with psychiatric certification.
• DEA license with prescriptive authority.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric medication management strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for patients requiring medication management, TMS and Spravato.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and state regulations.
• Collaborate with additional TMS and Spravato providers to ensure integrated, comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and contribute to program development as we expand medication management services.
