Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company is seeking a Production Supervisor for the PM shift in Spartanburg, SC. You will supervise production employees and drive improvements to safety, efficiency, waste reduction and cost control within a food/beverage manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include planning operations, enforcing HACCP standards, championing plant sanitation, and collaborating with HR to address employee relations while maintaining high morale and production performance.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in a production environment with food or beverage industry.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups; perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety processes and behaviors to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Plan, schedule and execute production operations and establish priorities.
• Ensure process controls are established and adhered to for operational consistency.
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of HACCP concepts and plant sanitation.
• Review reports and resolve production and maintenance problems to prevent delays.
• Achieve stated goals for efficiency, waste, and direct costs.
• Inspect equipment to ensure operational performance and utilization.
• Develop and implement standard operational and working practices.
• Manage employee performance, discipline and development while complying with policies.
