Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent not required; degree preferred
• Experience in a food/beverage production environment
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate to groups
• MS Office skills and plant software familiarity

Responsibilities

• Improve safety processes and behaviors to prevent accidents.
• Plan, schedule and execute production operations and establish priorities.
• Ensure process controls are established and adhered to for operational consistency.
• Maintain knowledge of HACCP concepts and plant sanitation.
• Review reports and resolve production and maintenance problems to prevent delays.
• Achieve goals for efficiency, waste, and direct costs.
• Inspect equipment and ensure optimal utilization.
• Develop and implement standard operating practices.
• Manage employee performance, disciplinary actions, and training.
• Collaborate with HR to resolve employee relations issues.
