Milo’s Tea Company is seeking a Production Supervisor for the AM shift in Spartanburg, SC. The role oversees production employees, enforces safety and Quality programs, and drives efficiency while coordinating with multiple departments to meet production goals. Degree preferred (Food/Beverage) with strong report writing and communication skills is desired.

Qualifications

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience supervising production staff in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with HACCP and plant sanitation concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety processes and behaviors to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Plan, schedule, and execute production operations and establish priorities.
• Ensure process controls are established and adhered to for operational consistency.
• Review reports and resolve production and maintenance problems to prevent delays.
• Achieve goals for efficiency, waste, and direct costs.
• Inspect equipment to ensure performance and utilization.
• Develop and implement standard operating practices.
• Manage employee performance, discipline, development and policy compliance.
• Partner with HR to resolve employee relations issues and strengthen morale.
• Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve goals.
• Recommend changes in methods, equipment, and systems.
• Establish line performance standards; report results and take corrective action.
• Identify opportunities for tech changes to improve line performance.
• Responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.
• Uphold Corporate Responsibility programs including recycling and volunteering.
• Demonstrate Milo’s Responsibility commitments.
• This position has supervisory responsibilities.
