Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production staff, enforce safety, and optimize manufacturing processes in our South Carolina facility.

You will schedule operations, monitor quality, and collaborate with maintenance and HR to resolve issues while upholding HACCP standards. The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, plus comfort with MS Office and plant software.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in a production environment with food or beverage industry.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups; perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and use of plant specific software systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety processes and behaviors to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Plan, schedule and execute production operations and establish priorities.
• Ensure process controls are established and adhered to for operational consistency.
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of HACCP concepts and plant sanitation.
• Review reports and resolve production and maintenance problems to prevent delays.
• Achieve stated goals for efficiency, waste, and direct costs.
• Inspect equipment to ensure operational performance and utilization.
• Develop and implement standard operating practices.
• Manage employee performance, discipline, development and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues.
• Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
• Work with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities for technological changes and implement improvements.
• Supervise and participate in corporate responsibility initiatives.
