Job summary

Playa Largo Autograph in Key Largo, FL, seeks a guest-focused Food & Beverage Associate to take orders, serve beverages and meals, and handle payments in a courteous and efficient manner.

The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of local attractions and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus, with ServSafe and TIPS trainings preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar public-facing role.
• Must meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, management and co-workers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.

• Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
