Fresh Ale Pubs LLC in Anchorage seeks a Line Cook to prepare high-quality dishes following Tooth Company's recipes. You will collaborate with front- and back-of-house teams to ensure a great guest dining experience and maintain a clean, safe work environment in a teaching kitchen.

Evening availability is required; you will adhere to safety, sanitation, and policy procedures while delivering consistent menu execution and teamwork with staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ with Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card or willing to obtain one.
• Teaching kitchen environment; positive attitude can compensate for experience.
• Evening availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and policy procedures.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients.
• Read tickets carefully and follow recipe guidelines precisely.
• Produce orders accurately to ticket specifications.
• Monitor temperatures and cooking times with pride in every item.

• Handle and rotate food according to food service codes.
• Report equipment or food quality issues to a manager promptly.
• Communicate clearly with all staff in the restaurant.
• Complete opening, closing, and side duties.
• Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.

We are looking for hardworking and friendly individuals to join our kitchen crew!

Evening availability is required.

As a Line Cook, your main focus is to prepare and create delicious, high-quality food that follows the Tooth Company's recipes and accommodates customer preferences. You will work closely with both front- and back-of-house teams to ensure our guests have a fantastic dining experience. Line Cooks must maintain a clean work environment and follow company hygiene and dress code policies to ensure food safety. Join us for a fun and fulfilling opportunity!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
2. Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients
3. Read printed tickets carefully with attention to detail
4. Accurately produce orders following recipe guidelines and ticket specifications
5. Monitor temperature and cooking times while taking personal pride in every item delivered for service
6. Operate kitchen equipment safely
7. Proper handling and rotation of food according to food service codes
8. Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a Manager
9. Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
10. Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
11. Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed
12. Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card (or willing to obtain one). Experience is preferred; however, this is a teaching kitchen, and we are willing to take on the right candidate with a positive attitude in place of experience.
