Job summary

Holland America-Princess in Anchorage is seeking a Line Cook to support back-of-house operations. You will execute cooking tasks, set up stations, and plate dishes during service, ensuring quality and timeliness.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior kitchen experience, and the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handler Card within 30 days. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Previous experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen required.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations preferred.
• Must hold or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire (failure to comply may result in reduced hours until provided).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for full shifts (up to 8 hours).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
