Job summary

Bear Tooth Theatrepub is seeking a Line Cook for our Theatre and Grill kitchens in Anchorage. Evening availability is preferred, and you will prepare high-quality dishes following The Tooth Company recipes while accommodating guest preferences.

You'll work with front and back-of-house teams to maintain food safety, stay on recipe guidelines, and support opening/closing duties. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued, with a focus on teamwork and consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience is preferred; however, this is a teaching kitchen, and we are willing to take on the right candidate with a positive attitude in place of experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and policy procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients.
• Read printed tickets carefully with attention to detail.
• Accurately produce orders following recipe guidelines and ticket specifications.
• Monitor temperature and cooking times while taking personal pride in every item delivered for service.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Proper handling and rotation of food according to food service codes.
• Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a Manager.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant.
• Complete all opening, closing, and side duties.
• Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Join the Bear Tooth as a Line Cook! We are hiring in our Theatre and Grill kitchens. Evening availability is preferred. As a Line Cook, your main focus is to prepare and create delicious, high-quality food that follows the Tooth Company's recipes and accommodates customer preferences. You will work closely with both front and back-of-house teams to ensure our guests have a fantastic dining experience.
