The Bear Tooth Theatrepub in Alaska is seeking a Line Cook to join our theatre and grill kitchens. Evening availability is preferred as we aim to serve guests during peak dining hours.

As a Line Cook, you will prepare high-quality dishes following our recipes, work closely with front- and back-of-house teams, and maintain food safety with proper hygiene and dress code policies. This role offers a fun, team-focused environment with opportunities to grow.]

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card (or willing to obtain one).
• Experience is preferred; this is a teaching kitchen, and we are willing to take on the right candidate with a positive attitude in place of experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
• Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients
• Read printed tickets carefully with attention to detail
• Accurately produce orders following recipe guidelines and ticket specifications
• Monitor temperature and cooking times while taking personal pride in every item delivered for service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely
• Proper handling and rotation of food according to food service codes
• Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a Manager
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
• Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
• Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed
• Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect

Join the Bear Tooth as a Line Cook! We are hiring in our Theatre and Grill kitchens. Evening availability is preferred.

As a Line Cook, your main focus is to prepare and create delicious, high-quality food that follows the Tooth Company's recipes and accommodates customer preferences. You will work closely with both front and back-of-house teams to ensure our guests have a fantastic dining experience. 6. Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
7. Multitask and retain multiple called ticket items
8. Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology and knife skills
