Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, FL, seeks a Kitchen Supervisor for the PM shift to oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain high-quality standards across all culinary activities.

This role reports to the Executive Chef in the Food & Beverage department and focuses on staff management, inventory control, and cost-effective, safe, and compliant kitchen operations in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the daily operations of the kitchen.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and support skill development.
• Schedule shifts, hire new employees, and train and evaluate staff members to meet company standards.
• Evaluate equipment and facilities; order supplies and replacements as needed.
• Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menu items that enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure accurate reporting.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Control costs and maximize profits by efficiently managing inventory and kitchen operations.
