Cheeca Lodge & Spa, a premier resort in Islamorada, seeks a skilled Line Cook to enhance our culinary team and contribute to dining experiences across Atlantic's Edge, Mia Cucina, room service, and tiki bars.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a culinary role, a high school diploma or GED, and a passion for culinary arts. 18+ years old; training on safety protocols provided. Benefits available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; culinary degree is a plus but not mandatory.
• 1–2 years of experience in a culinary role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen area, adhering to Board of Health standards.
• Follow precise directions for food preparation to ensure quality and consistency in presentation.
• Aim for perfection in preparing dishes, focusing on uniform presentation and efficient waste management.
• Participate in team briefings to stay up-to-date with kitchen objectives and standards.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a friendly, cheerful demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication in English and the ability to work well under pressure.

In this role, you'll contribute to our renowned dining experiences, which include the award-winning Atlantic's Edge Restaurant, Mia Cucina Italian Kitchen, room service, and our lively tiki bars.
