JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 for our Advanced Facilities Group in Brownsville, TX. You will directly lead moderately complex construction projects, guiding safety, preconstruction activities, scheduling, budgeting and subcontract management.

You’ll coordinate with owners, designers, vendors and subcontractors while driving Lean practices and best-in-class documentation. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require travel/ relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours.

Responsabilités

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Manages the JE Dunn prestart checklist form.
• Supports the preconstruction team including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope of work development.
• Leads plan and implementation of buyout schedule and manages subcontracts.
• Coordinates with Logistics to obtain pricing on materials and equipment.
• Leads monthly project reviews, progress meetings and OAC meetings.
• Prepares project schedule with the Project Superintendent and manages resources to meet schedule.
• Provides written documentation for decisions affecting budget, schedule, quality and safety.
