Job summary

JE Dunn in Brownsville, TX seeks a Project Engineer 2 for the Advanced Facilities Group. You will support routine construction tasks, assist with self-perform work, and coordinate with the project team to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, or related field and 2+ years of construction experience, with willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours. Strong MS Office skills and CMiC knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Willing to travel/relocate and work non-traditional hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on active construction sites.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and QA/QC planning to ensure project quality.
• Support estimating, scheduling, and daily reports for the project.
• Assist with self-perform activities and procurement logs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal project support functions.
• Help prepare and disseminate documentation and meeting materials.
• Monitor crew size, materials, and equipment on site.
