Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its Advanced Facilities Group, based in Brownsville, TX. You will manage project components, oversee field execution, and ensure alignment with JE Dunn’s safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with the project team, prepare schedules, review subcontractor performance, and mentor teammates while applying Lean practices on site. This role requires 3+ years in construction and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; willingness to travel.
• Experience with CMiC or project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety and quality plan tasks and mentors others to maintain an injury-free environment.
• Coordinates QA/QC planning to ensure task quality and compliance.
• Leads estimation, scope definition, and subcontractor selection for the project.
• Manages site activities, progress reporting, and documentation such as daily/weekly reports.
