The North Carolina Department of Administration is seeking a Plumber II in its Facility Management Division in Raleigh, NC. You will maintain and repair plumbing systems, including hot and cold water and drainage, across the downtown government complex, working with plans and specifications and ensuring compliance with state plumbing codes.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work at heights, and capability to operate in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in the repair, replacement or construction of piping systems.
• May require licensure by the governing board or commission.
• Backflow certification within six months of hire is required or must be obtainable.

Responsabilités

• Install plumbing systems per plans and specifications.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning plumbing systems, fixtures and components.
• Use tools and test equipment commonly used in Plumbing.
• Work knowledge of building codes and maintenance of hot/cold-water, irrigation and drainage systems.
