Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to drive new business and deliver competitive, accurate estimates for residential and light commercial projects. You will evaluate jobs on-site, present options, and close deals with homeowners, property managers, and contractors.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of plumbing experience and proven sales or estimating success, with strong communication and CRM skills. Local travel, field visits, and daily customer interaction are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales) and knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs and explain technical work clearly.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using CRM software, estimating tools, tablets, and standard office applications.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; background check and drug screen pass.
• Plumbing license or journeyman card a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, and contractors to drive repeat business.
• Represent the company at trade events and home shows.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet targets.
• Prepare on-site estimates covering labor, materials, and permits.
• Coordinate with service manager to confirm scope and schedule after sale.
• Document all customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM.
