Job summary

Volarify in Danbury, CT seeks an experienced General Manager to run daily plumbing operations, manage finances, and develop a high-performing team. You will drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity while scaling service capacity in a growing franchise.

The role requires strong P&L discipline, dispatch/field service leadership, and a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset. Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred; base salary is competitive with performance incentives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing/HVAC/home services management experience.
• 3+ years in a General Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, or Branch Manager position.
• Experience managing service technicians and dispatch operations.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a service business

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, dispatch, field technicians, and customer service.
• Manage branch profitability, budgets, labor costs, revenue, and operational KPIs.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop plumbing technicians and support staff.
• Drive revenue growth through technician performance, customer retention, and sales initiatives.
• Establish operational processes for scheduling, service delivery, inventory, and quality control.
• Monitor average ticket size, conversion rates, callbacks, technician utilization, and gross margins.
• Ensure compliance with Connecticut plumbing licensing requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Work closely with ownership to execute growth strategies, expand service capacity, and add trucks as demand increases.
