Job summary

Volarify in Danbury, CT is seeking a Master Plumber with hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing, emergency service, drain cleaning, and advanced plumbing repairs. This role involves diagnosing complex issues, performing installations and repairs, handling emergency service calls, and ensuring work complies with CT codes.

The candidate will read blueprints, mentor apprentices, and coordinate permits and inspections, maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Master Plumber license or applicable Connecticut plumbing contractor license required.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on plumbing experience preferred.
• Proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing service and repair.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex plumbing issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, sewage pumps, and sewer lines.
• Perform emergency plumbing repairs and respond to service calls with urgency and professionalism.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for residential and commercial properties.
• Perform drain cleaning, hydro-jetting, sewer line repairs, and video camera inspections.
• Troubleshoot water leaks, clogged drains, burst pipes, and other plumbing emergencies.
• Read and interpret plumbing blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with applicable Connecticut state and local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
