Job summary

Sila Services in Stoneham, MA is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager who loves the plumbing business, knows how to lead people, and wants the opportunity to make a real impact. • 3+ years of Plumbing Service Management experience.
• 7+ years of residential service plumbing experience.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing plumbing technicians.
• Experience managing KPIs, revenue, gross profit, and department performance.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing service, repair, and installation.
• ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred.

Sila Services is looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Manager who loves the plumbing business, knows how to lead people, and wants the opportunity to really make an impact.

You’ll lead a team of approximately 15 residential plumbers and have ownership of the day-to-day performance of the department. This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk management job. You’ll coach your team, spend time in the field, dig into the numbers, solve problems, and work alongside leadership to continue growing the business.

To Be Considered, You Must Have

• 3+ years of Plumbing Service Management experience
• 7+ years of residential service plumbing experience
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing plumbing technicians
• Experience managing KPIs, revenue, gross profit, and overall department performance
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing service, repair, and installation
• ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 15 residential plumbers
• Oversee the daily operations of a 24/7 plumbing department
• Coach, train, and develop technicians through one-on-ones, ride-alongs, and ongoing training
• Monitor KPIs, revenue, gross profit, conversion, and technician performance
• Use ServiceTitan to manage workflow, reporting, and department performance
• Work closely with dispatch to maximize technician productivity and capacity
• Review estimates, service reports, job notes and technician documentation
• Support technicians with difficult jobs, estimating and presenting options to homeowners
• Help technicians improve their customer service, communication and sales skills
• Handle escalated customer issues and make sure they are resolved quickly
• Recruit, onboard and develop new team members
• Hold the team accountable for performance, quality, safety and customer experience
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, profitability and operational efficiency
• Partner with leadership on department goals, budgets and growth plans

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who understands both sides of the job — plumbing and leadership. You should be comfortable talking through a difficult plumbing issue with a technician one minute and reviewing KPIs, revenue, and gross profit the next.

You need to be organized, comfortable holding people accountable, and able to build relationships with your team. Experience with estimating, quoting, and presenting plumbing solutions is important, and a plumbing license is preferred.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
