Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced Counter Supervisor for the West Palm Beach, FL area. The role combines hands-on leadership with deep product knowledge to guide the plumbing/HVAC counter, assist customers, and drive sales with a consultative approach.

You will coach staff, manage daily counter operations, and collaborate with branches to meet revenue targets while maintaining exceptional service. The position requires physical stamina and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in counter sales or related industry, plumbing/HVAC preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive sales performance.
• Advanced product knowledge and consultative selling skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching and conflict resolution abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily counter operations with accurate workflow.
• Assist customers at counter, phone, and email with expert guidance.
• Process sales transactions through the POS system efficiently.
• Coach Counter Sales Associates and Senior Associates on product knowledge.
• Drive sales with upselling, cross-selling, and promotions.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Branch Management and Outside Sales on targets.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Maintain inventory, cycle counts, and special orders.
• Implement merchandising to optimize displays and promotions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
