Job summary

Jordan & Skala Engineers is seeking a Plumbing Engineer/Designer to own plumbing design in a BIM environment for multifamily and mixed-use buildings. You will coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams in Revit and support projects through construction.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field, strong Revit skills, and knowledge of plumbing codes. AutoCAD proficiency is a plus; licensure (EIT/PE) or CPD certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong working proficiency in Revit within a BIM workflow.
Solid understanding of plumbing codes in multidisciplinary projects.
AutoCAD proficiency; Revit primary for design deliverables.

Responsibilities

Design domestic water, storm drainage, sanitary waste and vent, and natural gas distribution systems.
Lead plumbing design for high-rise, mid-rise, garden-style, and mixed-use projects.
Coordinate plumbing with MEP teams in a real-time BIM workflow (Revit).
Support construction administration including submittal reviews and RFIs.
