Job description

We are a large, growing Plumbing and HVAC Mechanical Contractor currently hiring for Plumbing Designer/Engineers. This is a permanent position with a great salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our Engineering and Design teams on current and future plumbing drawings and engineering load calculations
• Review and Design Plumbing systems within drawings provided by Architects and Owners
• Build ISO and Fab Drawings
• Work closely with Engineering, Design and BIM teams
• Design layouts for cold/hot water, hydronic systems, rain water, grey water, and black water treatment systems, storm drains, boilers, gas, and other plumbing and mechanical systems
• Coordinate with other internal teams and external trades in BIM Coordination meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
• EIT or PE License
• LEED AP Certification
• Plumbing Engineering and Design experience
• Advanced knowledge of CA Plumbing Codes and ASPE requirements
• Working experience for Plumbing/HVAC contractor and/or MEP Design Engineer firm
• Large project experience working on Schools, Healthcare-OSHPD, high-rises, hotels, and/or airports
