Career Collective is seeking a Plumbing Engineer or Designer to join our team on commercial, healthcare, higher education, and industrial building projects. You will design plumbing systems and coordinate with trades from early design through construction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of plumbing design or facilities design experience.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, or similar projects.
• Knowledge of IPC and UPC plumbing codes.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of plumbing equipment and systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter who works well independently and with a team.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical degree is a plus.
• CPD certification or interest in obtaining it is a plus.
• Estimating or construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems for commercial and institutional building projects.
• Develop riser diagrams, flow diagrams, piping layouts, and construction documents.
• Select plumbing equipment and develop system requirements.
• Create and coordinate plans using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with other trades and disciplines.
• Ensure designs meet applicable plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Assist estimating and pre-construction teams with proposals and project planning.
• Review and approve shop drawing submittals from vendors.
• Help develop and maintain CAD/BIM standards and details.
• Work on projects from initial design through construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, architects, and other project team members.
