Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA for plumbing systems on federal construction projects at Fort Hood, Texas. The role ensures compliance with IPC, UFC, and contract requirements throughout design, installation, testing, and commissioning stages.

The successful candidate will review plans, perform inspections, generate detailed reports, and coordinate with project teams to deliver compliant plumbing systems on time.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in plumbing installation, inspection, testing, or construction oversight.
• Strong knowledge of IPC and UFC standards.
• Experience reviewing plans, specs, and shop drawings.
• Experience supporting federal/DoD/MCE or military construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing system installations for compliance with codes and contract requirements.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems during pre-, in-, and post-construction phases.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions for deficiencies.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, contractors, and government representatives.
• Schedule and conduct final acceptance tests of plumbing systems.
