Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Product Group Engineering to lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities across the product lifecycle. You will partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, data-driven PLM platforms that accelerate safe, high‑quality medical technologies to market.

You will lead a global team, manage vendors, and drive digital transformation within R&D Technology with strong governance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Master’s degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
• 6–8 years of PLM, engineering systems, or R&D IT experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in regulated environments.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage PLM product group engineering activities across the product lifecycle.
• Own PLM platform capabilities, configurations, integrations, and roadmaps.
• Lead the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize R&D platforms.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable PLM solutions.
• Ensure PLM solutions comply with regulatory, quality, and data integrity requirements.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers and analysts.
• Drive continuous improvement across PLM processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and system partners.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within R&D Technology.
