Johnson & Johnson, a leader in healthcare, is seeking a Manager of Product Group Engineering focused on PLM. You will drive end‑to‑end PLM capabilities, partnering with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to enable safe, compliant, and efficient development from concept through lifecycle changes.

This high‑impact role requires 6–8 years in PLM or related IT within regulated environments and leadership experience in a global setting.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of PLM, engineering systems, or R&D IT experience in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of product development and lifecycle processes in medical devices or life sciences.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives balancing business priorities & regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams with coaching & performance management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLM product group engineering activities across the product lifecycle from concept to post-market changes.
• Own PLM platform capabilities, configurations, integrations, and roadmaps to align with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing needs.
• Lead the application of AI, analytics, and automation to modernize R&D platforms and accelerate product development.
• Translate business and engineering requirements into scalable PLM solutions and governed processes.
• Ensure PLM solutions comply with regulatory, quality, and data integrity requirements.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers and analysts with coaching and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance data quality, system usability, and efficiency across PLM processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and system partners, including delivery, enhancements, and support.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within R&D Technology, including interoperability with ERP, MES, QMS.
