Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. in Greer, SC seeks a skilled PLC/automation technician to support maintenance and upgrades of packaging and processing equipment. You will diagnose PLC logic, troubleshoot HMIs, and implement safety and efficiency improvements across the line.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, upgrading software, training team members, and maintaining thorough records of changes and repairs for GMP compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have substantial hands-on PLC/automation maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC logic, HMI, and electrical controls in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to install and test new equipment, upgrade software, and document changes.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs, safety policies, and wear PPE.
• Lead troubleshooting during equipment failures with production teams.
• Maintain/upgrade production equipment and test new packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and fix PLC/automation issues including electrical components.
• Calibrate/test equipment for specifications and compliance.
• Assist with PLC system upgrades and safety improvements.
• Modify PLC programs for optimization and safety.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and programming changes.
• Train team members on PLC functions and troubleshooting.

RSLogix 5000/500/5 troubleshooting

Electrical schematics reading

Multimeter use

SLC/PLC systems debugging

HMI and Panelview handling

VFD replacement (AB/Yaskawa)

AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
