Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager Controls to lead the Automation Team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure critical system calibrations are completed on time.

The role requires PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD and servo programming expertise, plus strong Ethernet networking and SQL Server development capabilities. Responsibilities include leading the team, training technicians, and overseeing automation upgrades to maximize asset utilization while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial control systems.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Proficiency in PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens and B&R), VFDs (AB, SQ D), Servo (AB, Elau, Fuji, Rexroth…), HMIs (AB, Zenon, Ifix) and Networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote IO, ProfiBUS, ASI and Ethernet).
• Working knowledge of Robotics (Kuka, Fanuc).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation team to support production attainment goals.
• Design, troubleshoot and lead automation project launches.
• Ensure safety, GMP compliance and incident investigations.
• Develop training plans and grow technician skills.
• Provide timely reports and KPI-driven insights.
• Oversee plant-wide automation upgrades and asset utilization.
