Job summary

Refresco Group seeks an experienced PLC Technician II to design, program, repair and maintain PLC systems in our facilities. You will inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support advanced production equipment with electrical/electronic troubleshooting.

You will lead troubleshooting with the production team, upgrade PLC programming, and document all changes while contributing to continuous improvement and safety initiatives. Rare travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient with RS Logix 5000/500/5 and online with various PLCs
• ,
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use a multimeter

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting during equipment failures with production team
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades on production equipment
• Install and test new food manufacturing, packaging, and processing equipment
• Diagnose PLC/automation malfunctions and perform complex repairs
• Train team members on basic PLC functions and troubleshooting
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs and upgrades
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Travel rarely as needed
