Job summary
Refresco Group in Greer, SC is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair PLC and automation systems in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will calibrate, test, and upgrade equipment, and work with the production team to resolve issues and improve reliability.
The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, and a Rockwell Maintainer certificate (or willingness to obtain within 24 months).
Qualifications
- Three plus years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
- Rockwell Maintainer or equivalent certificate preferred, obtainable within 24 months.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is required.
- Electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills are required.
- A maintenance skills assessment may be required to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to health and safety policies and wear PPE.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and work with production team to resolve issues.
- Maintain, test, and upgrade production equipment and interfaces.
- Diagnose and repair PLC and automation issues, calibrate equipment.
- Assist with PLC upgrades and program changes for safety and efficiency.
- Document maintenance, repairs, and programming changes; train team members.
- Identify process improvements to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
