Job summary

Springdale Ice Cream and Beverage seeks a maintenance technician to support programming, calibration, and integration of PLCs and HMIs across the plant. You will install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and oversee control system projects to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Role requires 3+ years of PLC/HMI experience, strong troubleshooting, and ability to work flexible hours in a manufacturing setting while supporting SQF and Kroger QA principles.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years PLC and HMI programming experience.
• Ability to install, diagnose and repair electrical systems in industrial machinery.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers and plant networking is essential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of industrial control systems and PLCs.
• Install, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components of industrial machinery.
• Replace defective components and wiring; adjust mechanical parts.
• Maintain programming, hardware networking and communication; troubleshoot and fix failures.
• Oversee full control system project implementation (hardware and software).
• Support preventive maintenance and plant control system upgrades.
