Job summary

Refresco Group in Greer, SC is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician with strong PLC skills to maintain and upgrade food manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose PLC/automation issues, calibrate devices, and support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, and a Rockwell Maintainer cert is preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs required.
Rockwell maintenance certification preferred, within 24 months if not held.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in troubleshooting during equipment failures and collaborate with production team.
Maintain, test and upgrade production equipment and interface with machine tools.
Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and automation issues, including faulty components and wiring.
Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specs.
Assist with PLC system upgrades and improvements to optimize production efficiency and safety.
Modify existing programs for optimization or enhanced safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Train team members on basic PLC functions and troubleshooting.
Engage in continuous improvement and follow safe workplace practices.
Develop positive interactions with managers, supervisors, maintenance technicians, and operators.
