West Michigan Instrumentation Systems, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program and commission PLC/SCADA systems for municipal and industrial water projects in Nunica, Michigan.

The role focuses on Allen Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 500/5000), WonderWare/AVEVA, PanelView Plus and C-MORE, with occasional site travel to install and start-up equipment. Full-time, hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, pay $40–$45 per hour, with benefits including SIMPLE IRA, employer matching, health insurance and paid time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in electrical/controls engineering.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, install, start-up and commission PLC/SCADA systems.
• Program Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
• Coordinate with customers to deliver required control functionality and provide documentation.
