Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a dynamic SCADA Controls Automation Project Engineer to support municipal and industrial water projects across New England. You will lead medium to large SCADA implementations, coordinate with project managers, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

The role requires strong communication skills, mentoring of junior staff, and frequent travel to job sites. A BS in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI software

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE License or CAP is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large SCADA implementation projects.
• Oversee design reviews and cost estimates.
• Develop and manage SCADA master plans with project managers.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with vendors.
• Engage with municipalities and industrial clients to maintain relationships.
• Configure and test PLC/HMI, and commission SCADA systems.
