Job summary

gpac is seeking an Instrumentation & I&C Engineer to support water and wastewater clients with SCADA systems development, programming, and field implementation. Responsibilities include programming SCADA and PLC, configuring HMI graphics, enabling communication across serial, fiber, radio, and cellular, and developing historical databases and reports.

Ideal candidate has experience with Wonderware, Aveva, or Ignition, and a degree in a related tech field with PLC/HMI/MS SQL skills; on-site work

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Wonderware, Aveva, and/or Ignition.
• Degree in related tech field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMI development, and MS SQL.
• Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
• Basic knowledge of networking and familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and on-site when needed.

Responsibilities

• Program SCADA and PLC systems.
• Configure OIT, HMI, and SCADA graphic applications.
• Implement communication via serial, fiber, radio, and cellular.
• Develop historical databases and reporting packages.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical.
