Job summary

Concentric Integration, a subsidiary of Baxter & Woodman, Inc., seeks an Automation Engineer to design, fabricate, program, install, commission, and support water/wastewater control systems. You will handle instrumentation configuration, panel wiring, and start-up for municipal projects, with on-call responsibilities and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical/controls engineering, extensive PLC/SCADA experience, and ABET-accredited degree.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience as Electrical/Controls Engineer: design, programming, installation, startup.
5+ years’ experience with Allen-Bradley Logix PLCs.
5+ years’ fieldwork: panel wiring, start-up, troubleshooting.
5+ years’ experience with SCADA software (FactoryTalk View SE, Ignition, Wonderware, VTScada, or iFix).
3+ years’ experience with PanelView or similar touch screens.

Responsibilities

Provide conceptual design, solutions, and product specifications per end-user requirements.
In-house PLC/OIT/HMI programming and testing.
Onsite instrumentation configuration, installation assistance, and start-up/testing for municipal clients.
Be on-call 24/7 for troubleshooting when competent for independent work; rotation weekly.
Occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds.
