Job summary

Packsize International in Louisville, KY seeks a PLC/Controls Engineer to manage and sustain PLC code across multiple automation platforms. You will develop high-level OOP code in Codesys, B&R Automation, and Siemens, commission new machines, and maintain code in repositories while documenting control designs.

Travel up to 10% may be required as part of supporting development, production, and on-site customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ME/EE/CS or similar from a four-year college or university.
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and sustain PLC code bases for various industrial controls platforms.
• Develop high level OOP structured text code in Codeys, B&R Automation and Siemens.
• Commission new machines and maintain code in repositories.
• Document control application designs and develop test plans.
