Job summary

Packsize is seeking a PLC/Controls Engineer in Louisville, KY to manage and sustain complex PLC code bases across Codesys, B&R, and Siemens platforms. The role includes developing high-level OOP structured text and maintaining code for multiple machine platforms.

You will work on commissioning new machines, improving control architectures, and mentoring peers. On-site work with potential travel accompanies a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ME/EE/CS or similar.
• Experience with PLC programming and motion control.
• Knowledge of IEC 61131-2/PLCopen languages, structured text required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and sustain PLC code bases for industrial controls platforms.
• Develop high level OOP structured text code in Codesys, B&R Automation and Siemens.
• Commission new machines and support development activities.
• Maintain and document control application designs and code repositories.
• Travel to customer locations to resolve technical problems and provide support.
