Job summary

Hyundai Mobis is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Alabama to program PLCs, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on conveyors and automated warehousing systems. The role focuses on maximizing production uptime and requires strong electrical, mechanical, and robotics knowledge.

Responsibilities include testing PLCs, calibrating equipment, reading schematics, and collaborating with engineers to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and write fluently in Korean and English.
• Electrical maintenance skills with ability to read electrical blueprints.
• Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• General knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Experience with fabrication.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Test PLC programs and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions for PLC programming.
• Repair and maintain high-tech automotive plant production equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment and optimize PLC systems for performance.
