Job summary

Leadec is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Huntsville, AL to support the maintenance team across highly automated manufacturing systems. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring timely repairs of process carts and production equipment.

The ideal candidate will have PLC experience, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge, and hands-on ability with schematics and electrical components.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical and automation equipment.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and ladders.
• Experience with CMMS/SAP or similar systems is preferred.
• Maintenance experience in automotive/industrial environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process carts and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and repair automation equipment.
• Log work orders, parts, and time in CMMS (Maximo or equivalent).
• Lead root cause analyses and implement long-term fixes.
• Provide rapid response to breakdowns during scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 quality objectives.
