Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers, a operator of travel plazas, is seeking a Plaza Director to manage daily operations and drive profitability across a multi-million-dollar plaza located along a major highway in the United States. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver fast, friendly service while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time; lift and carry at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to meet sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, and brand standards.
• Monitor financial and performance metrics; implement changes to maximize profitability.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts adhere to brand standards.
• Foster a culture of learning, information sharing, and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotion, and disciplinary actions for plaza leadership.
• Supervise leaders to ensure goals are met and direct reports are managed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws; handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
