Job summary

EVONA in New York is seeking a Business Development Team Lead to drive outbound growth across North America. You will lead a small BDR team while continuing to prospect and generate opportunities, reporting to sales leadership and collaborating with marketing and pre-sales.

The role blends leadership with hands-on pipeline generation, focusing on enterprise opportunities in utilities, energy infrastructure and midstream sectors. Travel up to 25% across North America is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B business development or sales development experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience (team lead or similar).
• Experience prospecting into utilities, energy, oil & gas, midstream pipelines or similar sectors.
• Proven track record of generating enterprise pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of BDRs with clear performance expectations.
• Maintain hands-on pipeline generation alongside the team.
• Shape outbound strategy and contribute to quarterly pipeline planning.
• Improve CRM usage and sales-engagement workflows with cross-functional teams.
