Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring entry-level Child Care Specialists (Behavior Technicians) to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy for children aged 2-6 in a center setting. Training is provided; RBT certification is supported and encouraged.

You will work with clinicians to implement care plans and document progress using tablets. Soar offers paid training, a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full-time roles, and pathways for raises and promotions through the career progression

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within the first six weeks of employment.
• Reliable transportation to the training location and local center, along with dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and comfort using computers and tablets.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, change positions quickly, spend extended time on the floor, occasionally run short distances, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center setting.
• Follow individualized care plans created by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document each child's progress using a computer or tablet.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team and share updates that support consistent, high-quality care.
• Soar provides paid training for RBT certification and ongoing professional development; promotions every three months as skills grow.
