Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring Child Care Specialists (Behavior Technicians) to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children ages 2 to 6 in a center setting. You will follow care plans created by clinicians across ABA, speech, and occupational therapy, and document progress using a tablet.

This entry-level role offers paid training to earn RBT certification, with ongoing professional development, regular opportunities for raises and promotions, and clear pathways into behavior analysis

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (verified by resume/application/BACB attestation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within six weeks of employment.
• Reliable transportation to training location and center; dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Clear verbal and written communication; teamwork; comfortable with computers/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center setting.
• Follow individualized care plans created by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document each child’s progress using a computer or tablet.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and share updates to support high-quality care.
• Participate in paid training for RBT certification and career progression programs.
