Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Englewood, CO is hiring Child Care Specialists (Behavior Technicians) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2 to 6 in a center setting, following the Early Start Denver Model. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in child development, psychology, education, and behavioral health.

This position does not require prior RBT certification for most locations as training is provided, with opportunities for raises and advancement through the career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and RBT attestation within first six weeks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within six weeks.
• Reliable transportation to training location and center, with dependable attendance.
• Clear verbal and written communication, teamwork, and comfort with computers/tablets.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds, with mobility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center setting.
• Follow care plans created by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document each child’s progress using a computer or tablet.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team and share updates to support high-quality care.
• Participate in paid training for RBT certification and career development.
